Haruki Noguchi was a Japanese motorcycle racer who participated in the Asia Superbike 1000 (ASB 1000) division of the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC). He also finished third in the renowned Suzuka 8 Hours race in 2023. Unfortunate Death
Haruki Noguchi was competing in round four of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia on August 13, 2023.
He was engaged in a high-speed incident with another rider on lap four of the race, at turn 10. The race was promptly red-flagged, and he was brought to the medical center on the circuit.
Haruki Noguchi was taken to Nusa Tenggara Barat Hospital for additional treatment after suffering severe head injuries and internal bleeding. He died from his injuries on August 16, 2023, at 5:40 p.m. local time, despite the best efforts of the medical staff. Dr. Agus Prasetyo declared him dead.
The entire motorsport community was stunned and grieved by his passing, particularly his family, friends, team, and fans. Many messages of support came in from fellow riders, teams, organizers, and media groups.
At Motegi, where round five of the All-Japan Superbike Championship was held on August 20-21, a minute of silence was observed before the start of each race.

- Haruki Noguchi began his racing career in Japan in the micro bike and junior divisions.
